MORDEN, MB – Candice Hoeppner, Member of Parliament, welcomes local residents to join her for her annual New Year’s Tea with your MP this Wednesday in Morden.
“I warmly invite everyone to take time to come out and join me for coffee, tea and cookies this Wednesday at my office in Morden,” said Hoeppner. “I look forward to opportunities like these to meet with constituents in a more informal atmosphere.”
This year’s New Year’s Tea takes place as follows:
- Wednesday, January 6th
- 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
- Unit E, 886 Thornhill Street (Morden constituency office)
“The arrival of the new year is a time to reflect on the events of the past year and chart a course for the future,” Hoeppner commented. “The New Year’s Tea gives me a chance to connect with residents of the Pembina Valley and surrounding areas; to renew old acquaintances, make new ones, and celebrate together the arrival of the new year.”
“I am so proud to serve as Member of Parliament for the 86,000 residents who call Portage—Lisgar home,” continued Hoeppner. “We are a determined, resourceful and hard-working bunch and have experienced success in the past year even in this global economic downturn. I believe this is a region where the best still lies ahead and there is every reason to be optimistic for the future.”
Hoeppner noted she also hosted a successful tea in December at her Portage la Prairie constituency office. |
