PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE, MB – Candice Hoeppner, Member of Parliament, welcomes local residents to join her at her annual Christmas Tea with your MP this Wednesday in Portage la Prairie.
“I warmly invite everyone to take time to come out and join me for coffee, tea and cookies this Wednesday at my office in Portage. I look forward to opportunities like these to greet constituents in an informal atmosphere, visit with old friends and meet new ones,” said Hoeppner.
This year’s Christmas Tea takes place Wednesday, December 16th between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm at the Portage la Prairie constituency office (306 Saskatchewan Avenue East).
“People’s lives are so busy, especially in the weeks leading up to Christmas. The Christmas Tea provides a chance to connect with residents of Portage and the surrounding communities; to take a moment together to celebrate the season of Christmas,” Hoeppner stated.
“I am so proud to serve as Member of Parliament for the 86,000 residents who call Portage—Lisgar home,” continued Hoeppner. “We are a determined, resourceful and hard-working bunch and have experienced success in the past year even in this global economic downturn. I believe this is a region where the best still lies ahead and there is every reason to be optimistic for the future.”
Hoeppner noted she will also be hosting a New Year’s Tea with your MP in January at her Morden constituency office. |
